Playful Places supports cultural organisations with playful transformation through mentoring, consultancy & training.

We work with people, spaces and places, using creative collaboration and playful enquiry.

We take a non-hierarchical, inclusive approach starting with where you are — to build playful provision from your unique starting point.

Playful Places vision

Our vision

Our vision is for play to be part of everyday public, cultural places.

Working with clients and partners, we want to build appreciation of the value of play to our quality of life and well-being.

We are passionate about investigating how play better connects us and helps us respond creatively to social inequalities, issues of spatial justice and climate challenges.

What we do

Our work is about sparking playful change. We help organisations sustainably develop their play offer.

We help your staff build the confidence and skills to enable play opportunities for children and young people.

We encourage you to develop greater permission for playing and to provide playful services that complement and enhance your existing provision.
